The Importance of the Site in Logistics Center Projects

31 August 2026

In logistics facilities, the floor is exposed not only to foot traffic but also to forklift wheels and pallet loads. Point load resistance is the primary criterion for product selection in these facilities.

In the warehouse project we completed, we used homogeneous vinyl flooring with a wear class suitable for heavy commercial use. Color-coded markings were used in the transition areas between the shipping area and the office section to separate vehicle and pedestrian routes.

Directional lines painted later on warehouse floors tend to wear off quickly. In this project, the lines were integrated directly into the material itself, so they do not wear away from forklift traffic.

Officials stated that they were satisfied with the performance of the installed flooring and that the system had significantly reduced maintenance costs.

Following the project, the company began participating in new bidding processes for similar projects. Mineteko’s installation stood out as a successful example of durability and quality in industrial flooring.
