An Aesthetic and Durable Flooring Solution for a Shopping Mall Project

Mineteko was selected for the interior flooring applications at a newly opened large shopping center in Ankara.

Decorative epoxy and terrazzo-look flooring systems were chosen for the project. In addition to their aesthetic appeal, these systems create surfaces that are resistant to heavy foot traffic, slip-resistant, and easy to clean.

Custom color options were developed to complement the architectural design. The flooring installed in stores and common areas was applied in a way that harmonized with the overall design. The surface texture, designed to work well with light reflections, was determined in collaboration with the project architects.

Despite the heavy foot traffic following the mall’s opening, the flooring met expectations. Inspections revealed that it was resistant to wear and scratches.

While the mall management expressed its satisfaction with the installation, Mineteko’s decorative flooring solutions also became one of the project’s standout features. The project has become a successful example of how an aesthetic appearance and durable flooring can be combined.
